Don’t
forget the 3DYouth Year-End Picnic at the Doles’ pond THIS AFTERNOON. Plan to meet at 4:00 pm for our regular time
of worship and singing, life lessons from Mark and games, followed by a picnic
meal of hotdogs and s’mores.
A new doxology for a new month! Many beautiful doxologies are available for
use in Christian worship, and we like to try new ones periodically. Beginning this month, we’ll be using the Gloria Patri (Lat. “Glory to the
Father”). It goes like this: “Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and
to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world
without end. Amen, amen.” It’s
one of my favorites – Derek
