Announcements

Don’t forget the 3DYouth Year-End Picnic at the Doles’ pond THIS AFTERNOON.  Plan to meet at 4:00 pm for our regular time of worship and singing, life lessons from Mark and games, followed by a picnic meal of hotdogs and s’mores.

A new doxology for a new month!  Many beautiful doxologies are available for use in Christian worship, and we like to try new ones periodically.  Beginning this month, we’ll be using the Gloria Patri (Lat. “Glory to the Father”).  It goes like this:  “Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.  Amen, amen.”  It’s one of my favorites – Derek
Calendar

Choir practice at 6:00 pm.

Join us for Bible study and prayer at the church at 7:00 pm.  In our survey of the great themes of Genesis, we’re in Chapter 12.  S what was Abram doing in Egypt?  Why was Lot such a complicated figure?  It’s a great time to join us!

Sunday, July 12th
Save the date … just two weeks away!  Our annual Outdoor Worship and Picnic will be held at New Oregon Town Park.  Details to follow.

Thursday, July 30th
Helen Filsinger hopes to attend the Dewey Missionary meeting and share from their ministry.  There will not be an August meeting but will resume again September 17th.

Get the most out of the service by asking about our special listening devices.  Pick up one in the back or see an usher for help.  If yours isn’t working properly, don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.
