Get the
most out of the service by asking about our special listening devices.
Pick up one in the back or see an usher for
help. If yours isn’t working properly,
don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.
Announcements
This
morning we welcome Rich Mendola back to North Collins. Rich and Jan began working with international
students many years ago in Buffalo and are currently serving with International
Friendships on the Ohio State campus in Columbus. Let’s give him our full attention as he
brings a message from God’s word.
Be praying
with the Nominating Committee as it works to prepare a slate of candidates to
be considered for office at the Annual Meeting in February.
The church’s
financial statement for October 2015 is posted for review in the office over
the copy machine.
June
2017
will be here before you know it! In
preparation for FCC’s bicentennial, we will be forming a Bicentennial Committee
to help coordinate the celebration. If
you have ideas or want to have a part in planning for this important milestone
in our church’s history, see Derek.
November
29th
marks the beginning of Advent 2015! Our
morning worship services will commemorate the season with candles, readings,
and special messages. This year’s theme
is “We Have Heard on High”, a
series of Advent reflections on the angelic messengers in the Christmas story,
their message, and what we can learn from their startling appearances
throughout redemptive history. Pray that
this will be an encouraging, challenging time in our congregations.
