Announcements

Be praying with the Nominating Committee as it works to prepare a slate of candidates to be considered for office at the Annual Meeting in February 2017.  To submit names, see Olive, Fred or Derek.

Committee and Department Heads:  Our Annual Meeting is just a few weeks away.  All reports must be submitted to Audrey for compilation by the end of the month – or you get to read yours aloud at the meeting!

Tonight!

Join us tonight for a community hymn sing at the First Church of Evans at 6:30 pm as we bring the holiday season to a close with “A Little Christmas”.  You may want to take a favorite seasonal refreshment to pass.

Tuesday, January 10^th

Full Board meets at 7:00 pm at the church, preceded by Elders’ Meeting at 6:00.  Elders, come prepared to discuss the Zahl article on the back table (“Justify Yourself”).

Wednesday, January 11^th

Join us for Bible study and prayer meeting at the church at 7:00 pm as we continue our survey of the great themes of Genesis.  We’re finishing up Chapters 35 & 36 – then it’s on to Chapter 37 and the story of Joseph and his coat of many colors.  It’s a great time to join us.

Thursday, January 12^th

Choir practice at the church at 3:00 pm.

Sunday, January 15^th

3DYouth gets back on track for 2017.  Join us at 6:00 pm at the First Church of Evans for life lessons from Mark – we’re in Chapter 15 already! – followed by activities and refreshments.

Saturday, January 21^st

3DYouth takes to the ice at 2:00 pm for an afternoon of skating at the Rotary Rink at Fountain Plaza!  Admission is free, but skates can be rented.
