Announcements

We are happy to welcome John Brown back to North Collins! John has been involved with Promise Valley, the ministry formerly known as Seneca Gospel Mission, in various ways for the last 16 years. He currently serves as executive director. Let’s give him our full attention as he brings a message from God’s word.
3DYouth Group meets at the First Church of Evans tonight at 6:00 pm for life lessons from the Psalms followed by games and refreshments.
Joel and Owen Yoder have expressed interest in joining our fellowship. They have met all formal requirements, and the elders are happy to recommend them for membership. They will be presented to the congregation for consideration in the next few weeks. If you have any questions or concerns, please see Derek or one of the Elders.
Join us for choir practice one Saturday a month, usually from 9-10:00 am. If you would like to join the choir, see Alice or Kathy for practice dates. We would love to have you come sing with us!

Calendar
Monday, April 9th: AA meets downstairs from 8:00–9:15 pm.
Tuesday, April 10th: Full Board meets at 7:00 pm at the church, preceded by Elders’ Meeting at 6:00. Elders, come prepared to discuss the two articles about false teaching—“Origins and Presence” (Greco) and “Out There and In Here” (Lucas). Copies are on the back table.
Wednesday, April 11th:  Midweek Bible Study and Prayer Meeting at 7:00 pm. Join us as we resume our study in  Luke 3 about the remarkable ministry of John the Baptist, God’s “messenger of ultimatum.” It’s a great time to join us!

Sunday, April 22nd: 3DYouth Group meets at First Church (again) at 4:30 pm to pass out fliers for the 30-Hour Famine food drive, then it’s back to church for life lessons from the Psalms followed by pizza.
April 27th- 29th: 14th Annual Leadership Weekend with T. David Gordon

Get the most out of the service by asking about our special listening devices.  Pick up one in the back or see an usher for help.  If yours isn’t working properly, don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.
