Committee and department heads: Our Annual Meeting is just a few weeks away. All reports must be submitted to Audrey for compilation by the end of the month—or you get to read yours aloud at the meeting!

Be praying with the Nominating Committee as it finalizes a slate of candidates to be considered for office at the Annual Meeting in February 2019.

The Dewey Missionary Society thanks you for your generous giving to our December service project. The Eden/North Collins Food Pantry will receive our gift of $140 later this month.

Calendar

Monday, January 14^th: AA meets downstairs from 8:00 – 9:15 pm.

Tuesday, January 15^th: Full Board meets at 7:00 pm at the church to work out a budget proposal for 2019, preceded by Elders’ Meeting at 6:00. Elders, come prepared to discuss (finally) the Letham article, “Union with Christ.”

Wednesday, January 16^th:  Midweek Bible Study and Prayer Meeting meets this week at 7:00 pm.  We’re in Luke 6 and are considering Jesus’ teachings on life in a hostile world. It’s a great time to join us!

Thursday, January 17^th: Choir meets downstairs at 9:15 am.

Thursday, January 17^th: Dewey meets at 10 am in the adult Sunday School classroom to read missionary letters, pray for our missionaries and discuss the 2019 Missionary budget.

Sunday, January 27^th: 3DYouth “outreach” event. Join us for an afternoon of stomach-churning fun on trampolines (Sky Zone) or on inner tubes (Colden)—depending on the weather. Times and details to follow.
