Announcements

The Church’s financial statement for December 2018 is posted for review in the office over the copy machine.

Committee and department heads: Our Annual Meeting is just a few weeks away. All reports must be submitted to Audrey for compilation by the end of the month—or you get to read yours aloud at the meeting!

The fabulous prizes are in! Thanks to all who participated in the recent Creedal Christmas Quiz. If you answered a question correctly—or wanted to—or should have—help yourself to one of the beautifully republished pocket-size booklets in the back. John Calvin’s “Truth for All “Time” is a brief outline of the Christian faith, including easy-to-read explanations of the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer and the Apostles’ Creed. But please, only take one if you will commit to read it! Again, thanks for playing!

Don’t’ forget to silence your devices.

Calendar
Monday, January 21st: AA meets downstairs from 8:00 – 9:15 pm.
Wednesday, January 23rd:  Midweek Bible Study and Prayer Meeting at the church at 7:00 pm.  We’re in Luke 6 and are considering Jesus’ teachings on life in a hostile world. It’s a great time to join us!
Thursday, January 17th: Choir meets downstairs at 9:15 am.
Sunday, January 27th: Join 3DYouth for an afternoon of stomach-churning fun at Get Air in Cheektowaga. Van leaves directly from church. Bring a sack lunch, a change of clothes and $12. We’ll be back around 5:00 pm.
Saturday, February 9th: Annual Meeting at 10:00 am.

Get the most out of the service by asking about our special listening devices.  Pick up one in the back or see an usher for help.  If yours isn’t working properly, don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.
