Elders’ Meeting at 6:00 pm. Come prepared to discuss Chapters 5-6 in Piper (“Debtor’s Ethic” and “Serving God”).
Church Board Meeting at 7:00 pm
Wednesday, May 9th
Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm.
Join us at the church at 7:00 pm for Bible study and prayer. We are moving into Chapter 10 in our study of Hebrews (“The Supremacy of Christ”). Also, be meditating on the next hymn in our discussion series (“And Can it Be?”). Extra copies are on the back table along with T. David Gordon’s “Hymns: Criteria for Making Good Ones”.
Thursday, May 10th
Dewey Missionary Society is having their next Sit’n’Sew (10:00 am), as they work on making donation quilts. All are welcome to attend and help sew, cut fabric, sort and iron fabric, and finish quilts that have been pinned together. Bring you own tools and bring a bag lunch, if desired. Then, stay and work as long as you like after lunch. Thank you for your time!
Thursday, May 17th
Dewey Missionary Meeting at 10:00 am. Come hear about what our missionaries are doing, pray for them, and stay for a bag lunch. We hope to assemble more personal care bags for Cornerstone Manor and City Mission.
Sunday, May 20th
3DYouth Group meets at the First Church of Evans at 6:00 pm. Life lessons from Timothy followed by wiffle ball with MPB and refreshments.
