The ISI Conference Memorial Day Weekend is just 2 weeks
away. If you have an extra bed or two and are
willing to be a “bed & breakfast” for a couple of nights, let Harriett Rupp
know.
It’s not too late to contribute to the Dorothy Steff Hymnal Fund! We could
use about 60 more at $15.00 each. If you would like to fill out an
order form on the back table, you may do so. Otherwise, we will create an
order based on our donations. The next order will hopefully be placed in
mid-June. It would be helpful to our Treasurer if you would mark your
gift: "Hymnal Fund." Thank you for your generosity, and may God bless
us as we worship him in joyful song!
CALENDAR
TONIGHT! Sunday, May 20th 3DYouth Group meets at the First Church of Evans at 6:00 pm. Life lessons from Timothy followed by whiffle ball with MPB and refreshments.
Wednesday, May
23rd
Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm.
Join us at the church at 7:00 pm for Bible study and
prayer. We are moving into Chapter 10 in
our study in Hebrews (“The Supremacy of Christ”). Also, be meditating on the next hymn in our
discussion series (“And Can it Be?”).
Extra copies are on the back table along with T. David Gordon’s “Hymns:
Criteria for Making Good Ones”.
Saturday, May 26th

Reed’s memorial service is scheduled for noon on Saturday at Wentland’s
followed by a luncheon here at the church. All are invited to attend.
