ANNOUNCEMENTS
The church’s financial statement for June 2012 is posted for
review in the office over the copy machine.
Check out “Ask the Pastor” on Wednesday, July 18th at
2:00 pm (TCT Network and Dish Network channel 26, DirecTV does not carry the
program), as Derek tries to make good use of this special opportunity. “Ask the Pastor” is a live call-in program
with a panel of five area Senior Pastors answering viewer questions about life
and the Bible from the Bible.
It’s hard to believe, but the fall academic year is just around the
corner! Sunday School and Junior Church
teachers are invited to gather for a few minutes to schedule a planning meeting
to discuss curricula, class assignments, and related matters. See Pam Johengen after the service.
If you’re
interested in teaching Sunday School (or Junior Church) in the fall, there will
be a brief meeting after the service.
CALENDAR
Wednesday,
July 18th Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm.
Join us at the church for Bible study and prayer at 7:00 pm. We’re in Chapter 11 of our ongoing study in
our study in Hebrews (“The Supremacy of Christ”). Also, be meditating on the next hymn in our
discussion series (“And Can it Be?”).
Extra copies are on the back table along with T. David Gordon’s “Hymns:
Criteria for Making Good Ones”.
Sunday, July 29th
Outdoor
communion service and picnic at the Hills’ home on Langford Road. Plan now to be part of this special time of
worship and summer fun.
Get the most out of the service by asking
about our special listening devices.
Pick up one in the back or see an usher
for help. If yours isn’t working
properly, don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.
