ANNOUNCEMENTS
Next week is our annual church picnic at the Hills’
pond. Plan to join us at 9:30 am for our
outdoor communion service and fellowship meal to follow. See the insert for details.
If you want to be part of our next “Coffee with Calvin”
reading group, see Derek to order your copy of Tim Keller’s The Reason for God. After the books have been ordered and
received, we’ll pick a discussion date, probably later in the summer.
Evelyn Falk is continuing her recovery from a fractured
pelvis back at Eden Heights, where she is happy to receive visitors.
There will be no Dewey Missionary meetings in August. Please continue to keep our missionaries,
both home and overseas, in prayer.
CALENDAR
Wednesday,
July 25th
Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm.
Join us at the church for Bible study and prayer at 7:00 pm. We’re in Chapter 11 of our ongoing study in
our study in Hebrews (“The Supremacy of Christ”). Also, be meditating on the next hymn in our
discussion series (“And Can it Be?”).
Extra copies are on the back table along with T. David Gordon’s “Hymns:
Criteria for Making Good Ones”.
Get the most out of the service by asking
about our special listening devices.
Pick up one in the back or see an usher
for help. If yours isn’t working
properly, don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.
