Get the most out of
the service by asking about our special listening devices. Pick up one in the back or see an usher for
help. If yours isn’t working properly,
don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.
Announcements
During
Advent 2014, our morning worship services will commemorate the season with
candles, readings, banners, and special messages. This year’s theme is “Flesh of Our Flesh”, a
series of reflections on the importance of Christ’s taking on human flesh. Pray that this will be an encouraging,
challenging time in our congregation.
If you have photographs of special occasions from 2014 you want included
in our “Collage of Memories” slideshow, get them to Garry (prints or digital
formats are fine). We’re planning to
make them a part of our service on December 28th.
In an
effort to reduce the cost of heating the church building, the Church Board
again recommends meeting for worship in the Adult Sunday School classroom
during the coldest winter months. We are
tentatively planning to hold our first worship service downstairs in the
“Winter Chapel” on December 28th at our regular time of 10:45
am. Thank you for your understanding in
this important matter. ~ The Church Board
