most out of the service by asking about our special listening devices. Pick up one in the back or see an usher for
help. If yours isn’t working properly,
don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.
Announcements
This morning
marks the beginning of Advent 2014!
Our morning
worship services will commemorate the season with candles, readings, banners,
and special messages. This year’s theme
is “Flesh of Our Flesh”, a series of reflections on the
importance of Christ’s taking on human flesh.
Pray that this will be an encouraging, challenging time in our
congregation.
3DYouth Group meets TONIGH at the
First Church of Evans at 6:00 pm for life lessons from Mark followed by games
in the dark and refreshments.
If you would like to be on the 2015
rotation of Sunday morning scripture readers, see Derek.
Be praying
with the Nominating Committee as it works to prepare a slate of candidates to
be considered for office at the Annual Meeting in February. To submit names, see Olive, Fred, or Derek.
