Announcements
Today is the
International Day of Prayer for the persecuted Church. Christians around the
world are facing persecution in unprecedented numbers. We will be taking
an offering to send to The Voice of the Martyrs ministry to the persecuted
church on this Sunday. Please feel free to designate your special donation for
the persecuted church and remember to pray for the church around the world.
3DYouth Group meets here TONIGHT at 6:00 pm for life lessons from Mark
followed by games and refreshments.
Next week we
will celebrate the Lord’s Supper. If you
would like to participate, but are unable to be here, see Derek or one of the
Elders to arrange another time. Don’t be
shy about taking full advantage of this important gesture of unity with Christ
and his body. A fellowship meal
following the service IS scheduled.
Also, plan to linger over coffee and dessert for a brief family meeting. If you have any questions or concerns about
out life in the church, feel free to raise them during our informal time
together.
Be praying
with the Nominating Committee as it works to prepare a slate of candidates to
be considered for office at the Annual Meeting in February 2017. To submit names, see Olive, Fred or Derek.
